The first scientific paper developed in the AG-WaMED project has been published!
ClimInonda is an application developed to integrate existing database platforms by providing a suite of water management tools, including the ability to calculate the total precipitation depth recorded for any period, interpolate the annual recurrence interval for rainfall events, etc. Professional users who tested the platform provided a clear evidence that ClimInonda would provide the necessary basis for informed decision making by stakeholders and development agencies in arid and semi-arid Tunisia.
The tool was implemented in the Bayech Basin by a team of IRA Medenine, led by Zaineb Ali.
Zaineb is a PhD student at the University of Gabès, working on the AG-WaMED project. Her research will develop similar tools for the Tunisian-Agerian Living Lab of the project.
